Research Payment Account

An account funded in line with the budget set in advance (ex ante) , with ad hoc costs – charged in addition to management fees – collected from clients in accordance with a frequency and methodology to be defined by the investment firm, and independently of the rate at which transactions are executed (e.g. provisioning fees at each portfolio valuation date and regularly deducting them from the outstanding amount).
